Cookie policy

What this site stores in your browser, what each item is for, and how to change your choices.

The short version

The tools work without any cookies. The site stores a few small items in your browser’s local storage to remember your settings and saved work. These stay on your device. Optional analytics and advertising cookies are used only if enabled on the site and only after you accept them.

Items the site stores on your device

These are strictly needed for features you use or ask for, so they do not require consent. They are never sent to our servers.

Optional cookies

These are set by third parties, only after you accept them:

  • Analytics (not currently in use). Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to tell visitors apart and measure page views. They typically last up to two years.
  • Advertising (not currently in use). Google AdSense and its partners set cookies to show, limit and measure ads and, where you allow it, to personalise them. The names and lifetimes are set by Google and can change. See Google’s cookie information.

Admin cookie

If the site’s editors sign in to the admin area, a session cookie is set to keep them signed in. Visitors never receive it.

How to change your choices

  • When analytics or advertising is enabled on this site, use the Privacy choices link in the footer at any time to accept or reject them.
  • Your browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and site data. Deleting site data also removes your saved to-do list, habits and favourites.
  • For advertising, you can also visit Google Ad Settings or Your Online Choices.
